  2. Review the Area Details list. Select the “Settings” menu item from the top menu. Click on the “Admin Settings” link. Select “Area Details” from the list on the left. Make changes as needed.  Settings > Admin Settings > Area Details https://portfolio.zinspector.com/profile/editAreaDetails/
    • Common Examples:
      • Does your State require smoke detectors in the bedrooms? If so, add Smoke Detector to the Bedroom Area.
      • Would you rather have smoke detectors as a separate line item under Safety? If so, add Smoke Detector there.
      • Does your company have specific inspection requirements? Oil in the drive-way, Caulking in the bathrooms, etc, etc…make changes as appropriate.
    • You can do this step at any time, even after you have done inspections.
    • If you want to control inspection flow, you can set the default Area Groups as well.
  3. Create a Test Property on either (or both) the website or mobile app. Select the “Properties” menu item from the top menu. Select the “New Property/Unit” button to create the Property.
