zInspector Admin users can customize the Tenant-Completed Move-In invitation, configure reminders, and set auto-disable and grace period options.
Select Settings, click on Admin Settings, and, under Additional Settings and Options, select Tenant Move In.
By default, Daily Reminders are enabled and set to 5 days. The Daily Reminders start on the Lease Start Date or the Inspection Invite date, whichever is later.
On the Auto Disable date (5 days after Lease Start or Invite date by default), the tenant will receive an email notifying them that the window of opportunity to complete their inspection has closed.
A further Grace Period (an additional 5 days by default) is provided. At the end of the Grace Period, tenant access to the app will be blocked and their Tenant Move In app disabled; additionally, any in-progress inspection data will be disabled. We strongly recommend keeping the Grace Period of 5 days or longer: in reality, some tenants will not start the inspection until they receive the email informing them that their window of opportunity for completing the inspection has passed.
For purposes of documentation, you can also set a BCC email address to receive a copy of all Tenant Reminders. Because it contains the tenant’s secure Tenant Move In password, you will not be BCC’ed on the original invitation email. Instead, you will receive a separate email documenting that the tenant was invited.
