When inviting tenants to complete their own Move In or Periodic inspections, key info about the tenant and their lease needs to be in zInspector. If you use one of the popular accounting softwares with which zInspector syncs, you can avoid manually entering this crucial tenant and lease info.

Debugging and Understanding Sync Options Once Setup
If your zInspector account is synchronized with your property accounting data, and you are still not seeing some of your tenant contact data, then keep reading. The most common reason that tenants are missing here is that your tenants have gone month-to-month without their lease status being changed or the lease end date being updated to indicate this in your property accounting software. The result is that zInspector doesn’t know that the lease is still active and so the tenant doesn’t show up as available to invite. If this describes your practice, please change the sync option in zInspector to only make zInspector tenants inactive based on the Move Out date—not based on the Move Out or Lease End date.
