You may sometimes find that an inspection report you completed shows the notes (conditions and comments) but not the photos or videos taken during the inspection.
If this happens to you, don’t panic: instead, try these common solutions…
If “Intertim” is printed in red letters near the top of the inspection report, your inspection report notes have uploaded but your photos have not cleared the Queue.
Solution: Return to the mobile app and confirm that items are pending upload in the Queue. These will need to finish uploading before the report Interim status is removed. (See this article for more on Queue uploads.)
If “Interim” does not appear on the inspection report, you can be sure that your inspection photos have uploaded. In this case, the photos were likely taken on a different day than the inspection was actually completed and, as a result, are considered a distinct event, or Activity, from the inspection itself.
Solution 1: Go to your Timeline on the website. Select the inspection activity that appears incomplete. Adjust Span (number of days) so that it will include any photo activities previously conducted for that specific inspection. For example, if you took photos on one day but didn’t submit it until the next day, you will want to specify a Span of at least 2 days. After specifying a Span period, click Refresh to view the updated activity photos.
Solution 2: Go to your Timeline on the website. Find the Photo activity of interest for the inspected property. Open the Photo activity, scroll to the bottom, then click the Change the Date of the Activity field, and select the date on which the inspection was actually completed from the pop-up calendar. In doing so, you are essentially moving the photos to the date the inspection was completed so they can be considered part of the same Activity. The original photo timestamps will be preserved, even if you change the date of an activity.
Tip: “Interim” report status is primarily shown for property management inspection reports. If you seem to be missing photos and/or videos for any other activity type, follow the same basic steps: check your queue, adjust span for the most recent date of the activity, or change the date of the activity for previous activity dates to include them with the most recent activity date, as needed.
