If you’ve lost your mobile device, simply sign in to the zInspector website and change your password to secure your account. To change your password, click on Settings then go to Profile Settings, click Edit and select Password from the drop-down menu.
The mobile device will be signed out of the app, and your data (everything previously uploaded to the website) will be secure.
Note: In-Progress inspection data on a lost device is not retrievable.
‘Incorrect Password’ / Trouble Logging In?
Some mobile devices auto-capitalize the first character of a password without your knowledge. If you are unable to log in due to an “incorrect password” that you believe is actually correct, first try logging in to your zInspector account using a computer, manually entering your email address and password. Once you have confirmed that your email and password combo is correct, log into the mobile device manually as well, paying special attention to the password and making sure it is not being capitalized by your device automatically.
If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password? link. Enter the email address you use to log in to zInspector, and password reset instructions will be sent to you there. If you do not receive password reset instructions to the email address you entered, this typically indicates that you misspelled the email address entered or else a zInspector account associated with the provided email address does not exist.
Note: In-Progress inspection data on your device will be lost in the event that you change your password.
